Lod tunduh is a small village located 5 kilometers from Ubud center which makes it easy for our guests to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Villa Lumia but also the activities located in Ubud and its surrounding.
Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali. For more than a century, it has been the island’s preeminent center for fine arts, dance and music. It remains a calm cocoon where you’ll be able to relax far away from the fuss of southern Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Etc.)
Ubud is surrounded by most of the things that bring people to Bali with scenic rice fields, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples, palaces, rivers… It’s central location makes it easy to get from Ubud to the mountains, beaches, major towns or the many activities around.
Don’t forget to ask the villa’s staff for hints and suggestions about the surroundings!

Villa Lumia offers more than 680 m2 of living area!
It comprises of 4 air-conditioned bedrooms that all include:
– Walk-in dressing
– Huge semi-outdoor bathrooms with shower and bathtub Reading lamps
– Writing desk
– Bluetooth speakers
– Premium mattresses (Serta) and bed linens

Moreover, two of them have a mezzanine that can each welcome 2 additional people. A good option for parents who do want to keep an eye on their children.
That enables the whole property to comfortably host up to 12 people.
The villa offers several space of common areas for group reunion: the century-old joglo, a structure that was especially brought over from Java will be where you eat.
But were you to fancy a dinner under the stars, or sun, our 60m2 terrace will become your first choice.

The government of Indonesia limits the importation of alcoholic beverages by applying extremely high import duties. We therefore suggest to our guests to bring in bottles within the authorized limit of 1L of liquor per adult (over 18 years of age). Please note that luggage from international flights are systematically X-rayed upon arrival to detect non-compliant passengers. Villa Lumia does not apply a corkage fee for your own bottles.
Fortunately, it is easy and inexpensive to purchase some decent local beers or wines in Bali and we will make sure to keep some of those within our controlled temperature stock.
Villa Lumia also includes a wine cellar that enables us to keep some foreign bottles at the right temperature for the wine connoisseurs. We will do our best to maintain some stock available (priced separately) but once again we advise our guests to bring your own, from abroad, whenever possible.

The Villa Lumia has a dedicated team of 5 people looking after the wellbeing of our guests while remaining as discreet as possible. Over the years we have had the privilege to get to know most of them personally. We like therefore to consider them not only as the villa’s staff but also as our friends.
